A Mesa high school student won't be prosecuted on any charges after police say he exposed himself in a football team picture that ended up in the school yearbook.

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced Wednesday that 19-year-old Hunter Osborn won't be prosecuted on a felony charge of furnishing harmful items to minors or a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure.

Police said the attorney's office has returned the misdemeanor charge to the police department for further investigation.

Osborn was arrested after police were alerted over the weekend to a Red Mountain High School team photo showing Osborn exposing his penis through the top of his waistband.

Police say Osborn admitted to the prank, said he did it on a dare and was disgusted by his actions.

"At this time all parties involved no longer desire prosecution and the case will be closed," Mesa police said.
