PHOENIX - After being tossed from a car in the west Valley last week an 8-week-old puppy named Timmy is ready to be adopted.
The little black and white pup will be up for adoption at the Arizona Animal Welfare League starting Friday.
He has been recovering at AAWL after suffering a broken leg, which veterinarians later had to amputate due to the severity of the injury. According to a spokeswoman for AAWL, Timmy had so many tiny broken bones in his foot that they were unable to repair them.
AAWL still does not know why Timmy was thrown from the car but they want everyone to know that people can surrender their animals to AAWL without judgment.
