If providing great customer service is something you enjoy, Macy’s Credit and Customer Services has a great opportunity for you right in Tempe. Locally, family-owned pizza restaurant Barro's Pizza is looking to hire about 20 new employees to help start a brand new South Phoenix location. Counter servers, cooks, drivers and more can apply at Barro's Rural and Baseline or Laveen locations. The new location, the 36th location for the chain, is set to open around the end of October at 24th Street and Baseline.

Home Depot is opening a call center in Tempe and is hosting a hiring event beforehand. On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 17 and 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., head over to the Tempe Mission Palms for an interview. The new center is said to bring 800 jobs to the Valley and more than 100 of them will be sought at this hiring event. Candidates are encouraged to apply online before the event.

Medical assistants, receptionists, diesel mechanics, customer service representatives, solar electricians, general laborers, and many others are needed at different work locations.
